About Mia Robey
Mia Robey is a ceramic artist and printmaker based in Worthing, West Sussex. She began working with clay over a decade ago in her hometown of London, and later moved to the coast in search of a slower, more nature-connected way of living.
Her work is deeply inspired by the landscapes around her — the sea, the woods, and the quiet, shifting rhythms of the natural world. Influenced by ideas found in Japanese Shintoism, she is drawn to the belief that spirit exists within all things, and that there is meaning in living in harmony with nature.
Through her ceramics and prints, Mia explores themes of ritual, rest, and reflection. She sees creativity as a grounding, supportive practice — something that can gently hold us through both calm and more difficult moments.
Each piece is made slowly and with intention. Most are one of a kind, with collections released throughout the year as her work continues to evolve.
Alongside her own practice, Mia also hosts workshops and gatherings in and around Worthing, creating space for others to explore creativity in a mindful and supportive way.
