About Mia Robey

Mia Robey is an artist and ceramicist based on the Sussex coast. She began working with clay over a decade ago in her hometown of London, before later moving closer to the sea in search of a slower, more nature-connected way of living.

Her work is deeply inspired by the landscapes around her — the sea, woodland, changing seasons and the quiet rhythms of the natural world. Drawing on folklore, ritual and the stories woven through our relationship with nature, Mia creates artwork that explores connection, symbolism and the beauty found in everyday moments.

Through ceramics, printmaking and other creative forms, Mia explores themes of connection, reflection and the small rituals that bring meaning to our lives. Her work is influenced by the belief that creativity can be a grounding and supportive practice — a way to pause, reconnect and notice the world around us.

Each piece is made slowly and with intention. Many are one of a kind, with collections released throughout the year as her practice continues to evolve.

Alongside her studio practice, Mia hosts creative workshops and seasonal gatherings, creating spaces for others to explore their own creativity and connection with the natural world.
